Moenave Formation

Picture
Picture to be added later
The Moenave rests in the South section of Utah. The Moenave rests along the cliffs between Tuba city Arizona and Paria city Utah. The vermilion walled stone was formed by an ephemeral stream flowing to the northwest. The stream was filled with freshwater fish, which fossilized in the dried up bed. the formation is dated to be Late Triassic and early Jurassic. it looks like a Redrock with lots of mixed tan rocks into it, often containing fossilized dinosaur footprints.
